I'm back for another Six Sentence Sunday! This week, I thought I'd share a snipped from Worth Fighting For, Alpine Woods Shifters book four. This is from one of my favorite scenes where Cody, our Hero, is trying to teach Misty, our heroine, self-defense."Fine, nothing fancy." Misty held up her hands in defeat. "You don't have to get so cranky about it," she muttered under her breath.
"I heard that."
"I knew you would," she shot back. And because she knew it would aggravate him even more, she smiled, enjoying the way his forehead crinkled in a frown.
