Are You a Fan on Facebook?

Today, I noticed I had 95 likes on my facebook fan page, which is only five people away from 100! So I think it's time to celebrate and have a little contest!

So here's the deal. If my fan page has at least 100 likes, let's say by the end of the month, I will give away to a randomly chosen follower a $5 gift card to their bookstore of choice whether it be Amazon, B&N, or other (as long as they do digital gift cards).

On July 1st, I'll choose a winner and announce it on my facebook page, twitter, and here of course, and I'll send the winner a personal facebook message to claim their prize. For the purposes of this contest, you don't need to be a follower on any of my other social networks (besides facebook), but I'd love to see all of you there as well!

So tell your friends, and spread the word! Anyone who likes before July 1st, as long as the 100 is met, will get thrown into the drawing for the gift card!

Hope to see you there!

All’s fair in love and war.

As leader of a fox skulk, Cody is used to feeling protective. But when his best friend, Misty, gets attacked, his panic has nothing to do with duty. Suddenly, he’s noticing Misty as a woman instead of the girl he grew up with. But pursuing those feelings would risk their friendship, something he's unwilling to do.

Misty's tried everything, without success, to convince Cody she's not "one of the guys". Yet now that he's looking at her like she always dreamed, he pulls away every time she gets close.

Danger lurks in the background, waiting to pounce. Someone plots against the foxes, leaving them all in jeopardy…especially Misty. Will Cody overcome his fears in time to save the woman he loves?

When life hands you wolves, howl.

The alpha wolf in Zalin's pack is slowing going insane, which is tough enough to contend with, but the guy is gunning for the woman Zalin loves--the rancher's daughter who saved his hide. He's torn between taking off to avoid a confrontation with the Alpha, and sticking around to protect Lucia. Opening his heart to her is not an option-- he's had enough rejection to last a lifetime.

Lucia is fascinated by the "wolf" she saved--at the time unaware he was more than a canine. Zalin seems out to save her from his Alpha, but she wants more than protection from him. When spilled family secrets make her doubt everything she knows, she turns to Zalin for stability, only to learn he's planning to leave.

Will Zalin desert the one he loves when she needs him most, or will he howl a challenge on her behalf?

However, there is one woman he can never forget, who must be given a chance to change, to accept her heart and his.

Imprisoned in an ancient stone dance more than a thousand years ago, her only chance at freedom from the spell is through love--a love she denied. Six Sentence Sunday - 5/20

Today's post is from my newest release, Worth Fighting For, available at Lyrical Press, Amazon, and digital bookstores everywhere. As you can see, my Heroes and heroines don't always get along. The good news is, they always work things out in the end.

"What are you doing?" she snapped.

Would he answer? His jaw tightened as if he were clenching his teeth. "Counting," he gritted out. "It's supposed to calm people down."

"Good luck with that." She started to shut the door, but his hand slammed against it, preventing it from closing.

"We need to talk," he said.

Casting Call - Misty

A short time after finishing Worth Fighting For, I was watching one of those horrible disaster movies that play on the Sci-Fi channel--I secretly love those movies. Anyway, one of the actresses in the movie caught my eye. I knew I'd seen her in a few other things before, including Dawn of the Dead as zombie movies are another guilty pleasure of mine. For whatever reason, she stayed in my mind.

Then it hit me. If I were ever to cast Worth Fighting For, I would cast her as Misty. So here she is, Ms. Lindy Booth.

Why Shifters?

I’ve always been fascinated by animals. The beauty and strength prevalent in every move. The power that builds almost visibly as their muscles bunch for an attack. The expressive nature of their tails and ears. When I was younger, I thought I wanted to be a veterinarian. Of course, that dream disappeared once I realized vets didn’t just play with animals all day long.

A few years ago, gosh almost five years now, I picked up my first shapeshifter romance and my life was forever altered. I’ve been an avid reader of romance for over fifteen years, but the world of paranormal romance was new to me. Imagine my surprise when my love for reading romance melded with my fascination for animals. As if a door had opened, ideas flooded into my head. Helpless to resist, I opened my computer and began writing. And I haven’t stopped.

Those ideas led to more ideas, different characters and series, different creatures from mythology and history. And now my fingers can't keep up with my brain.

As I'm sure many of you know if you're reading this blog post, the latest book in my Alpine Woods Shifter series came out this past Monday, and the fifth book will be coming out next December. Right now, I'm working on a story in another series before jumping back in. There are plenty of stories in my head to tell. Now, I just need to find the time to put them all on paper!
